ATU SigEp is one of eight fraternities at Arkansas Tech University. Our membership development program complimented with our award winning national leadership development continuum helps brothers complete their academic goals and graduate as better scholars, leaders, athletes, and gentlemen.
Starting with the Sigma Challenge, brothers learn skills to help them achieve more as students. These skills include goal-setting and time management along with an intro to the history of SigEp and fraternities overall. From there brothers move into the Phi Challenge where brothers are challenged not only to become leaders in SigEp but in other student organizations around campus. Brothers are also introduced to advanced ideas of gentlemanly behavior including dining etiquette and professional presentation. The Epsilon Challenge helps brothers for life after ATU with examining resume building, interviewing tips, and being engaged in the expansive SigEp network of alumni in almost every career field imaginable! The last challenge is the Brother Mentor Challenge which invites brothers not only to serve the community in a more profound way but also to help guide the leaders in SigEp. The challenge also addresses core life skills.
SigEp asks its members to be virtuous in actions and diligent in studies, for Virtue and Diligence are two of our cardinal principals. The third principal is Brotherly Love. All fraternities have a sense of "brotherhood" but SigEp was the first to stress Brotherly Love as one of our core values. Your brothers are like your family on campus and we are a large and diverse family. The best way to learn about SigEp, is to experience SigEp! Visit our rush events or other events held during the year and talk with our brothers.
SigEp is about a balanced life. Work, properly balanced with fun, can help one achieve the ultimate college experience.
